100 Bag Summer Donation Drive (Northwood Church)
Sew Happy in Long Beach hosted
their Community Threads program on June 24th. Customers learned how to make a fleece blanket and then donated their new blanket to Buddy Bags among other items needed.

Mary and her children are members of Northwood Church and after hearing what all was needed they decided to donate 100 stuffed animals to Buddy Bags to help in the effort to fill 100 bags by the end of the summer.
Northwood Church has exceeded all of our hopes as they continue to be a generous sponsor of Buddy Bags. They have donated 100 bags ready to fill and have committed to donate even more. Along with donating the bags they continue to advocate and educate about Buddy Bags and foster care in our state.
